The heating technology integrated into the Ion pants is powered by a 7.4-volt system with three heating elements - one on the lower back and two on the thighs. Adjusting the heat level can be done in two ways. Firstly, the built-in touch control button allows users to cycle through four heat settings, indicated by colored LED lights. Secondly, the pants are Bluetooth®-enabled and can be connected to the MW Connect™ app, which provides smartphone control over the heating levels of the garment and other compatible Mobile Warming® devices.
